Sil base model

Hey guys and gals it's been a while. What I have here is my very first model I've ever made in Blender. It's no where near finished but I'm getting there.

But I've run into a few issues. One of them being UV mapping. What UV mapping is in a nutshell is unwrapping the character and adding textures it it.

If any of you have ever used Blender can you please suggest what I can do to map her.

Also my art software is caput so, no drawings from me for a while.
